PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider

Oxygen is critical for life. In an emergency medical situtation, EMS commonly provides oxygen to a patient. In a diving emergency, especially Decompression Illness(DCI), Oxygen is critical. The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider course develops your knowledge and practical skills in providing oxygen to an injured diver.
Skills covered include:
  • Assembly & Disassembly of an Emergency Oxygen System
  • Non-Rebreather mask use for a breathing diver
  • Demand Inhalator valve use for a Breathing Diver
  • Pocket mask use for a non-breathing diver
  • Manually triggered resuscitator valve for a a non-breathing diver(optional)

Course hours:2-3
Minimum age:None
Minimum certification:None (CPR/First Aid recommended)
